Born and raised in the small town of Mount Morris, NY, Sean was a high honor roll student who participated in multiple sports teams and musical performances. He actively engaged in The Boy Scouts of America, earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Sean graduated in 2009 with a high honors regents diploma, finishing in the top 10 of his class.
Initially awarded a full scholarship to Niagara University for their theatre program, Sean chose to pivot his career path after one year and pursue a future in the trades. In 2010, he began working with a local family-owned waterproofing company in Rochester, quickly advancing to the role of lead installer specializing in basement waterproofing and water damage prevention.
In 2013, Sean transitioned to become a roofing and siding specialist, eventually opening his own business as a roofing and siding contractor in 2018. His passion for home improvement led him to further explore foundation repair and structural foundation repair solutions.
In 2021, Sean and his brother Corey Fleming joined forces to establish S&C Waterproofing. Since then, Sean has become a certified expert in basement waterproofing, foundation crack repair, radon testing, and radon mitigation. He also holds numerous additional certifications within the industry, including his NYS Home Inspection License, enhancing his skills and knowledge.
Sean and his wife have been together for 10 years and are proud parents to six beautiful children, two of whom have joined the family business. An avid outdoorsman and music enthusiast, Sean is dedicated to expanding his expertise in the waterproofing industry. Corey attended SUNY GCC, where he pursued a degree in Business Administration and Business Management. He spent five years as a customer care representative for a local agency under federal contracts, during which he developed exceptional skills in customer service and technical support. Coming from a family with a strong background in mechanics and construction, Corey honed many hands-on skills over the years, making him well-suited for the waterproofing industry.
To gain more flexibility with his family—his wife and five children—Corey founded S&C Waterproofing, driven by his passion for providing effective solutions like radon testing and radon mitigation.
